Around 10am on Tuesday the Carman Fire Department was
dispatched to 2807 Guilderland Avenue, 4 Corners Pizzeria, for Mutual Aid with
District #2. Rescue 134 and Car 138 responded within minuets of the call, and
set up rehab for the scene. As the fire progressed multiple other mutual aid
companies were summoned to the scene, after 30 minuets of Rescue 134 being on
scene command requested Truck 132 to the scene as well. Truck 132 responded and set up on the A
D corner of the building and provided an aerial master steam. Due to the high
temperatures and humidity, Carman Volunteers switched out crews throughout the
fire multiple times. Due to multiple crews from Carman on scene as well as the
duration of the call, Stanford Heights Engine 433 was requested to standby at
the Carman’s Station, shortly after they arrived, there were also requested to
scene of the fire by command. Once Engine 433 cleared the scene, they returned
to Carman’s Station and helped with putting Truck 132 and Rescue 134 back in
service. Carman units cleared the scene round 6pm, a special thanks to the crew
of Engine 433.
