Saturday, July 3, 2010 On Friday July 2nd, the Carman Fire Department was dispatched to 2515 3rd Ave for a Tree on fire.  Assistant Chief Vunk along with Assistant Chief Sloan arrived to find a tree smoldering. Engine 135 responded with 4 volunteers and arrived soon after that. A booster line was pulled to extinguish the fire, and units returned in service within 30 min.
